Tickton Village Hall has two principal rooms available for hire, supported by associated facilities and provisions

Main Hall – Size: 20m x 8.5m

Suitable for Functions, Meetings, Presentations, Sales, Fairs & Events. (conditions apply)

  • Capacity for seating 120 -130
  • Capacity for standing 150 – 170 (entire Premises Licensed for 200)
  • Light and airy with high ceiling.
  • Flexible layout – theatre style for entertainment, presentations and events;  café style for parties
  • Direct access to kitchen and toilets

Small Hall  – Size: 9.5m x 5.1m

Suitable for Meetings and Small Groups and Organisations – not suitable for parties. (conditions apply)

  • Capacity for seating 25-30 approx.
  • Capacity for standing 35 approx.
  • Access to Kitchen
  • Self contained with direct access to kitchen and toilets

Available for associated hire / use

 

Kitchen

 

  • Large working Kitchen including double oven, hob, water boiler, all available under hire conditions
  • Function Crockery and Cutlery – available if required under hire conditions.

Hire Rates

The following rates are typical for use of the Hall facilities.

Please note:  there is a minimum charge of two hours for ALL hires.  Confirmation of hire is dependent upon payment prior to the hire date.   Payment is required by bank transfer.

 

(a) Meetings & Small Group / Organisations (not for profit)

 

Small hall

  • £5.00 per hour – Village/Parish resident
  • £10.00 per hour – Non-resident / Commercial

 

Large hall

  • £8.50 per hour – Village/Parish resident
  • £17.00 per hour – Non-resident / Commercial

 

Kitchen

  • £6.00 per hour – Village/Parish resident
  • £9.00 per hour – Non-resident / Commercial

 

(b) *Functions/Events with or without food or bar facilities, in the LARGE HALL  (*conditions apply)

Parties, Celebrations, Dances, Sales, Fairs, Events, etc.

  • £25 per hour + £50 returnable deposit – Village/Parish resident
  • £35 per hour + £50 returnable deposit – Non-resident / Commercial

Children’s parties (Aged 11 and under)

  • £20 per hour + £30 returnable deposit – Village/Parish resident
  • £25 per hour + £30 returnable deposit – Non-resident / Commercial
  • Please note: Bouncy Castles are not permitted inside the building or on the car park.

 

Wedding Party/Reception

  • £250 + £100 returnable deposit – Village/Parish resident
  • £350 + £100 returnable deposit – Non-resident / Commercial
